The Forum of Local and Regional Authorities of the Mediterranean was an initiative of the Mediterranean Committee of the United Cities and Local Governments Organization (UCGL), in association with Barcelona City Hall, Barcelona County Council and the Generalitat de Catalunya (Catalan Regional Government), as well as different groups and associations active in the region.
Grup Congrés acted as the official agency for the event, managing the two venues, La Llotja de Mar and the Gran Teatre del Liceu, and facilitating all of the services required for the different sessions: technical equipment, simultaneous interpreting, catering, event hospitality staff, airport reception and transfers, etc...
